HEALTY SMOOTHIE BOWLS TO KICK START YOUR HEALTHY DAY!

Many people state that they do not eat breakfast, yet many people know the saying, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." Research findings suggest that breakfast can improve cognitive functioning throughout the day and result in healthier decisions regarding nutrition following breakfast.


I like to indulge for breakfast and make smoothie bowls that are packed with nutrients, can be prepped for easy assembly, and taste like dessert!






My Favorite Smoothie Bowl Recipes

Acai, Kiwi, & Beet Bowl (Top Leftt):

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 frozen açaí packet (from Trader Joe's)

  • Handful of frozen beets (they are packaged in small chunks)

  • 2 Kiwi's

  • Vanilla vegan protein powder

  • Rice milk or almond milk

Toppings:

  • Sliced kiwi

  • Chia seeds

  • Flax seeds

  • Hemp seeds


Acai Berry Bowl (Top Right):

  • 1 frozen bananna

  • 1 frozen açaí packet (I get mine from Trader Joe's)

  • Frozen blueberries

  • Vanilla vegan protein powder

  • Rice milk or almond milk

Toppings:

  • Fruit of choice

  • Your favorite granola

  • Chia seeds

  • Flax seeds

  • Hemp seeds


Strawberry Bowl (Bottom Left):

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 handful of frozen strawberries

  • 3 medjool dates

  • Vanilla vegan protein powder

  • Rice milk or almond milk

Toppings:

  • Strawberries

  • Granola of your choice

  • Coconut flakes

  • Chia seeds

  • Flax seeds

  • Hemp seeds


Green Bowl (Bottom Right):

  • 1 frozen banana

  • Two handfuls of fresh spinach

  • Frozen mango

  • Frozen pineapple

  • Vanilla vegan protein powder

  • Rice milk or almond milk

Toppings:

  • Chia seeds

  • Flax seeds

  • Hemp seeds

We’re going to try and recreate one of these tomorrow morning. We just got our flax seeds and chia seeds delivered.
